A fourth defendant has been charged with forced labor and conspiracy for participating in a labor trafficking scheme that forced minors to work at egg farms in central Ohio.

Seven people have been indicted by a Franklin County Grand Jury for luring victims into human trafficking. The suspects would control the five victims with violence and drugs and post escorting advertisements on

A Toledo woman was indicted for obstructing an investigation into the sex trafficking of minors. The charges were filed as part of a 13-count indictment in which three Toledo men were charged with conspiracy to sex traffic children.

Two Cincinnati men pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to one count of conspiracy to sex traffic a child after conspiring to harbor a 14-year-old female and causing her to engage in a commercial sex act.

A federal grand jury has charged two Cincinnati individuals with charges related to the selling of a child and creating child pornography.

Evaluating Service Models for Domestic Victims of Human Trafficking
A brief describing service models from projects for domestic victims of human trafficking has been released by the Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation within the Administration for Children and Families of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

School Trafficking Outreach Program (STOP) Report
Abolition Ohio and the University of Dayton were awarded an Ohio Children’s Trust Fund Human Trafficking Prevention grant to implement the School Trafficking Outreach Program to equip students, educators and community members in the Miami Valley to combat human trafficking. The 2017 report summarizes the program’s accomplishments.
